Pilates is a system of exercises performed on a mat or Pilates apparatus designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture and enhance mental awareness.

At Studio Upgrade, we respect Joseph Pilates original work as well as his Pilates principles in all our programming.

We also acknowledge that our understanding of the human body has evolved and so should our training.

You will find a blend of classical Pilates with updated contemporary exercises carefully chosen for the participants in all of our sessions.

 

Private Pilates & Semi-Private Pilates

Private and Semi-Private Pilates sessions are best for clients new to Pilates, focused on a specific goal or sport, or with movement limitations difficult to overcome in a group Pilates session. During a private or semi-private Pilates session your instructor will customize your session from beginning to end with your goals, limitations, preferences, and requests in mind.

 

Small Group Pilates

Small group Pilates sessions are the perfect way to experience the benefits of Pilates while also enjoying the benefits of community. Small group classes follow a monthly focus progressing through the month. Each class is customized for the best fit to the participants in the room.

 

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates utilizes the participants own body weight and small props to strengthen and lengthen the body from the core out. Mat Pilates is the perfect addition to any exercise routine.

Power Plate
