Part education and part meditation this workshop will both teach and move you to better understand Chakras.
The session kicks off with Chakra history and overview of each Chakra, followed by a 45 minute guided meditation to better tune in to each.

Biotensegrity, a term coined by Dr. Stephen Levin, is the application of tensegrity principles to biological structures.[7] Biological structures such as muscles, bones, fascia, ligaments and tendons, or rigid and elastic cell membranes, are made strong by the unison of tensioned and compressed parts. The musculoskeletal system maintains tension in a continuous network of muscles and connective tissues[8], while the bones provide discontinuous compressive support. Even the human spine, which seems at first glance like a stack of vertebrae resting on each other, is actually a tensegrity structure.
This is a education setting where you will be learning and interacting while creating YOUR OWN custom essential oil blends with the assistance of crystals to balance and maintain your chakras.

We’ll kick off this class with 15 minutes on the reformer moving through a general reformer warm up session - footwork, feet in straps, and pulling straps can be found here. Following the warm up see how Pilates can be translated to TRX suspension straps in 15 minutes of body weight resistance work inspired by the Pilates practice. The 3rd segment in our sampler session takes us to advanced core - discover what your plank has been missing! In the final stage experience the Pilates jump board - cardio and Pilates team up to make a fast impact on your calorie burn for the day.
